After Ted Cruz won a second term on Tuesday defeating Democratic challenger Beto O’Rourke, Hollywood celebrities like Beyoncé, Alyssa Milano, Olivia Wilde, and many others poured their support into the campaign of Texas Democrat O’Rourke– but it wasn’t enough to convince Texans.

The All-stars celebs that poured their support and backing Beto took to social networks with their sights set on 2020.  #Beto2020 is the new hashtag in town.

“Beto lost? That’s ok,” actress Alyssa Milano tweeted. “Now he can run for President.”. Then she wrote in a follow-up tweet: #Beto2020

As Lady Gaga sings in “Born This Way”: “Don’t hide yourself in regret. Just love yourself and you’re set”- we all should love ourselves. This is why after the awful ‘Kick a Ginger Day’ was established co-founders of the website ‘How to be a Redhead’, in August 2015 Adrienne and Stephanie Vendetti launched National Love You Red Hair Day back – since then this special day celebrated every year on 5 November and this national day coincides with a night filled with fireworks.

On Adrienne and Stephanie Vendetti website the sisters wrote: “We wanted to create a nationally recognized day of the year that empowered redheads to love their hair. But, most of all, it’s a reminder for women everywhere, redhead or not, to love their unique qualities.”

These days there are a lot of ‘national days’ floating around, but this is one that truly deserves a place on the calendar. It’s all about loving your unique qualities, celebrating individuality and it’s actually pretty amazing if you have red hair because only 2% of the world’s population is a redhead.

That lucky 2% have some pretty impressive qualities – according to a 2003 study by McGill University in Canada, redheads have a higher pain tolerance and in 2005 the University of Louisville in Kentucky found that the gene meant redhead need less vitamin D than the rest of us.

The Grammy winner, Michael Bublé, moved viewers and was brought to tears while struggling to discuss openly his son’s cancer battle with James Corden in a special edition of James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke for Stand Up to Cancer UK on Friday 26 October.

In April 2017, Bublé and Lopilato revealed the wonderful news that Noah is well.

During the interview, he’s asked about his son Noah’s cancer diagnosis. Two years ago, the “Haven’t Met You Yet” singer and his wife, Luisana Lopilato, the Argentine actress and model, revealed that their then-3-year-old son, Noah, had been diagnosed with cancer. The lovely couple wrote on Lopilato’s Facebook page at the time: “We are devastated by the recent cancer diagnosis of our eldest son Noah who is currently in treatment in the United States. We’ve always talked a lot about the importance of the family and the love we have for our children,”. “Luisana and I are going to spend all our time and attention to help Noah to get better, by suspending our professional activities for now.”

In the show, Bublé said: “At first it was just, it is too hard to talk about. They said it wasn’t great so we took it day by day,” an emotional Bublé revealed, before adding: “We had the best doctors.”

“I wasn’t OK,” he continued. “When this all started I became the strength to somehow pull us and lift us. When they got it out and chemo was done, I just fell. My wife picks me up now.”

Noah is now in remission. “He is five years old now and I say to him, Spiderman is amazing but they [characters] are fake, they are not real. You are my hero, you are my superhero.”

Bublé’s honesty brought to tears Corden and all the watchers, while Corden, father of 3 children, looking slightly overwhelmed. The pair embraced at the end of the segment.

Netflix’s latest horror show, The Haunting of Hill House This modern reimagining of the Shirley Jackson novel follows a fractured family confronts haunting memories, Flashing between past and present, of their old home and the terrifying events that drove them from it.

One of the ‘Haunting Of Hill House’ cast member is the Star Of ‘E.T.’, Henry Thomas, who played little  and the show’s fans are losing their mind- especially because watchers were so distracted by the hidden ghosts peppered about the place and the fact that they were crapping themselves with fear, that many of them didn’t notice this major detail- Littel Elliott from E.T. is an adult now and took the place of the young dad in the Netflix series.

The social networks were floating with comments about the discovery. One Twitter user wrote, “Finding out that the younger Dad from Haunting of Hill House is Elliot from E.T. has shaken me to my core,”

while another Twitter user posted, “Wait. WAIT! So the dad in Haunting of Hill House is the same guy that played Elliott in E.T.? Mind. Officially. Blown.”

Sleeping Beauty is a classic fairy tale which involves a beautiful princess, a sleeping enchantment, and a handsome prince. The princess was cursed by the evil fairy to fall into a deep sleep for 100 years and be awakened by a kiss from a king’s son. Sleeping Beauty story has been an iconic fairytale moment for generations.

Looked at from contemporary perspective may it be this story is a little weird when looked at from contemporary perspective? This is the view of Sarah Hall- one concerned mother who’s requested her kid’s school remove the Sleeping Beauty story from their curriculum entirely.

Sarah Hall, 40 years old mom, from Tyneside, has sparked debate after suggesting the classic story normalizes and teach to unacceptable behavior, giving the young children a confusing message about consent.

Speaking with the Newcastle Chronicle, Sarah claimed how Sleeping Beauty gives the children the wrong message- how it’s acceptable to kiss a woman while she’s asleep. She said: “In today’s society, it isn’t appropriate – my son is only six, he absorbs everything he sees, and it isn’t as if I can turn it into a constructive conversation.

I don’t think taking Sleeping Beauty books out of circulation completely would be right. I actually think it would be a great resource for older children, you could have a conversation around it, you could talk about consent, and how the Princess might feel. But I’m really concerned about it for younger children would really welcome a conversation about whether this is a suitable material.”

Many celebrities have spoken out about how they read old-fashioned legends and tales to their children- and how they making sure the young children understand modern morals.

Bell told Parents how she always makes sure to ask her daughters:

“Don’t you think that it’s weird that the prince kisses Snow White without her permission? Because you can not kiss someone if they’re sleeping!”

Officers from UK police shared on Facebook a CCTV still of the man, who ‘looks like Ross from Friends’- David Schwimmer, clutching a crate of beer. ‘Friends’ fans inundated with comments from Facebook users after issuing an appeal for an alleged thief bearing a resemblance to the Friends star David Schwimmer and bombarded Blackpool Police’s post with jokes inspired by the loved 90s sitcom. Many posted references to some well-known lines by Ross from ‘Friends’.

After the police check for Schwimmer location, they announced that David Schwimmer ‘lookalike’ was not in the UK at the time of the offense-
“Thank you to everyone for your speedy responses. We have investigated this matter thoroughly and have confirmed that David Schwimmer was in America on this date,” they wrote.

PS4 gamers are having their consoles destroyed by rival users that have been exploiting a private messaging hack.

Gamers on Reddit have raged about how they’ve received a message that informed them their consoles require a factory reset to become fully functional once more.

According to The SunThe hack is being used as a tactic during high-stake matches by rival gamers.

Flagging the issue, one gamer wrote: “There is a new glitch that basically bricks your console and forces you to factory reset it. “Even deleting the message from the mobile app doesn’t work. It happened to me during Rainbow Six: Siege. A player from the other team used a dummy account to send the message and crashed my entire team. We all have had to factory reset. Only one of our guys wasn’t affected and he has his messages private. Do this ASAP to prevent this from happening to you.”

In order to understand the significance of the deletion, it is important to clarify, factory reset doesn’t break the console for good -it does leave all user data deleted. This means that countless hours spent on games is lost.

Many good Samaritans have responded advising users what to do to make their messages private:

Go to Settings > Account Management > Privacy Settings > Enter your password > Personal Info > Messaging, and set messages to either Friend (if you trust them) or No One.

Friends is an American television sitcom that we all know and love even before the days of Netflix, Amazon Prime, and binge-watching series.  This was when a sitcom, named Friends (which aired on NBC from September 22, 1994, to May 6, 2004), reigned supreme, including one particular American series that soon became one of the most iconic TV shows of its time. It means today it’s Friends 24th birthday!!!!

Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California was where the show was filmed and took place at. All 10 seasons of this loveable sitcom ranked within the top ten of the final television season ratings; extremely reaching the number one spot in its eighth season. The series finale was aired on May 6, 2004, watched by around 52.5 million American viewers, making it the fifth most-watched series finale in television history, and the most-watched television episode of the 2000s decade.

During that decade, Friends sitcom told us the story of a group of pals living in New York City, with Ross, Monica, Chandler, Rachel, Phoebe and Joey, starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, all guiding us through the ups and downs of relationships, careers, babies, big city life and, the important of all- friendship.

Although Friends ended in 2004, the cast is still making bank- some cast members’ careers after the show were more lucrative than others. Individually, friends stars net worth starts at $70 million, with the highest earners reaching $220 million.

Cox and ex-husband, David Arquette, own their own production company, Coquette Productions. In August, they announced that Cox will join the cast of the Shameless next season (US version).

Ed Sheeran has announced 2019 headline shows alongside festival dates, which join concerts earlier in 2018 in South Africa – at Johannesburg’s FNB Stadium on both 23 and 24 March, as well as Cape Town Stadium in Cape Town on 27 March – which has all sold out.

Running throughout May, June, July and August 2019, the newly-announced dates will take in Denmark, France, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Romania, Latvia, Czech-Republic, Hungary, Russia, Finland- where he will headline Sziget, which is known as Europe’s answer to Glastonbury – and Iceland, before peaking in the UK with two very special sets of homecoming shows.

Hurricane Florence: Hero volunteer rescues six abandoned dogs

Heroic volunteers have rescued the lives of six abandoned dogs in a locked cage in North Carolina. The dogs nearly drowned in Hurricane Florence’s fast-rising floods.

The footage of the heroic rescue has gone viral and shows the poor pooches standing on their hind legs, desperate for someone to let them out of the closed cage. In the video, the dogs can be seen and heard whimpering as they see volunteer rescuer Ryan Nichols of Longview, Texas wade in the knee-deep water towards the creatures. Once the chain-link fence is unlocked the dogs swim out whimpering, howling and scared. They then make it to safety in a nearby wooded area followed by the rescue volunteers. The video has already racked up 1.39 million views.

The devastated dogs were rescued from a property in Leland, North Carolina where their owners left them as they fled Hurricane Florence.

Journalist Marcus DiPaola posted on Twitter on Sunday: “Rescued six dogs in Leland, NC, after the owner LEFT THEM locked in an outdoor cage that filled with flood water that was rapidly rising.”

“We got them out, but by the time we left, the water was so high that they would have drowned. BRING YOUR PETS WITH YOU! #HurricaneFlorence.”

Bad news for Superman fans! It was recently revealed that Henry Cavill would be stepping down from his role as Kal-El and will no longer play the caped superhero in Warner Bros., which left us all wondering who’d be able to fill those boots. DC comics extended universe, and the studio has no plans for any film starring the Man of Steel for the next few years. After all, in the age of the superhero flick, you couldn’t just plonk anyone in a bit of spandex – it’s going to have to be someone pretty special.

Henry Cavill has appeared as Superman in three DCEU films: Man of Steel (2013), Batman v. Superman (2016) and Justice League (2016). “Superman is like James Bond, and after a certain run you have to look at new actors.” Warner Bros. has eager to “reset” the under-performing franchise, according to a source.

A new Superman film isn’t going to be in cinemas anytime soon, but that leaves a lot of time for us to imagine a new iconic red and blue suit. According to Deadline, Superman replacement that the producers considering for the future Kal-El is the Black Panther star- Michael B. Jordan.

Eminem’s new song has been marred in controversy for its use of “homophobic” language. The ‘Fall’ video shows Eminem running away from Internet trolls, the media and all those who criticised his last album Revival.

Taken from his surprise album ‘Kamikaze’, which the rapper dropped on fans last week (Friday- August 31), the video is structured like a short horror movie where Eminem is followed around by a social media monster and it appears to show that he’s got feelings and that you guys hurt them.

Reviewing ‘Kamikaze’, NME said: “Eminem is not happy. We know because he tells us, in the opening seconds of ‘Kamikaze’, like he’s psyching himself up: “I feel like I want to punch the world in the fucking face right now…He’s upset, mostly, about the fact that people didn’t like his last album, the not-particularly-great ‘Revival’, released on December 15, 2017…“Revenge is the best medicine,” Em raps on the title track. His revenge relies on how the rap world will respond to his throwing down of the gauntlet.”

Matt Smith, the former Doctor Who and The Crown star, is set to play a key role in the forthcoming sequel, which is currently in production in the U.K with JJ Abrams as director. It’s unknown yet whether Smith will be on the side of the rebels or the evil empire.

Production on the film began at London’s Pinewood Studios earlier this month. Smith joins Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver and Oscar Isaac and Adam Driver, as well as newcomers Keri Russell, Richard E. Grant, Dominic Monaghan, and Naomi Ackie for the final part of the revived trilogy. Billy Dee Williams is surprising his role as Lando Calrissian, and Carrie Fisher will be featured as Leia Organa in the final installment of the Skywalker saga, using previously unreleased footage shot for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” because Fisher died in December 2016 at the age of 60. Mark Hamill will be returning as Luke Skywalker and Anthony Daniels will reprise his role at C-3PO.

Abrams was confirmed as director of Star Wars 9 last September. For his stint, Abrams has drawn upon two actors he’s worked with on previous projects: Keri Russell (Felicity) and Dominic Monaghan (Lost).

Smith found fame playing the 11th Time Lord in Doctor Who from 2010 to 2013. This year’s, Both him and Russell, are nominated for the Emmy Awards, for their roles in The Americans and The Crown, respectively.
