Sarah Drew Asks ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Fans to Stop Attacking Kelly McCreary

Sarah Drew, who plays the role of April in Grey’s Anatomy, made this request on her Twitter account to stop her fans from attacking Kelly McCreary on the social media platform.

In case you had any doubts about the intensity of Grey’s Anatomy fandom, the recent events surrounding Kelly McCreary – who plays the role of Maggie – should erase them.

The drama started in March when ABC announced that Sarah Drew, who plays April, a surgeon, in Gray’s Anatomy – would be leaving after the finale of Season 14. Fans of the popular drama series were so angry at the announcement that they were just looking for an avenue to vent their anger.

And in poor Kelly McCreary – who plays the role of Maggie in the series, they found just that. And the reason why they are targeting him is due to the storyline of Gray’s Anatomy.

For, in the last few episodes, McCreary’s character, Maggie, has started dating the husband of April, Jackson Avery. Before his tilt towards Maggie, Jackson shares a long history with April, with whom he also has a daughter, Harriet.

Therefore, when the fans came to know that Sarah (April) would be leaving Gray’s Anatomy at the end of Season 14, they were hoping that she would reconcile with Jesse Williams (Jackson) in the show.

However, with Maggie standing in the way, there seems to be a very remote possibility that the reunion of April with Jackson would occur.

Hence the reason why McCreary has constantly been targeted on Twitter by fans of Sarah. While the initial targeting was limited to trolling, McCreary’s abuse has got so vicious in the last few days that Sarah had to come forward and plead with her fans to let McCreary go.

“I know these characters mean so much to you — believe me, they mean a lot to me, too — but I do not feel defended when you attack my friends,” Drew wrote.

She continued, “My beautiful, loving, loyal sister, Kelly, is a brilliant, fiercely talented team player who ALWAYS shows up and dedicated herself to the stories she is asked to tell,”

“Please stop attacking her for doing her job. When you hurt her, you hurt me. When you show kindness to her, you show kindness to me, Please be kind.”

Whether her fans will heed Sarah’s advice or not only time will tell, but one thing that we do know is that things are not looking for her character in Grey’s Anatomy. For, in the trailer of Season 14, Episode 23, April was seen lying unconscious on the floor. Later, she was shown being rushed to the ICU with a breathing tube in her mouth.

Thus, while Sarah is trying everything she can to make Gray’s Anatomy fans less emotional, the writers of the popular ABC drama series are doing anything but.

White House Asks Reporters to Ignore President Trump’s First Amendment Tweet

The statement came from White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders in the wake of President Trump’s Tuesday night Tweet regarding First Amendment.

Think before you Tweet; that was the not-so-subtle message which the White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders was presumably giving to the American President when she was pressed by supporters to explain President Trump’s Tuesday night Tweet.

‘’The Fake News is working overtime,’’ President Trump had Tweeted on Tuesday night, before adding, ‘’ Just reported that, despite the tremendous success we are having with the economy & all things else, 91% of the Network News about me is negative (Fake).’’

Then came the bombshell: ‘’ Why do we work so hard in working with the media when it is corrupt? Take away credentials?’’

This Tweet created an uproar in the National media which called it as an attack on First Amendment which gives the newspapers the right to publish. Therefore, it was highly likely that when Sarah Huckabee Sanders stood in front of reporters to give her daily briefing, she was bombarded with questions on the same topic.

Before taking any questions, Sarah Sanders, presumably in an effort to limit the damage, started her daily briefing with an insistence that this White House advocates for the press. However, that plan soon backfired as the reporter asked her to square her remarks with that of Trump’s Tweet, before adding that ‘’those two did not go together’’.

That didn’t deter Sarah Sanders from her point: ‘’ “The fact that I’m standing here taking question, the fact the president took questions from your colleagues just two hours ago, demonstrates this White House’s commitment to accessibility and providing information to the American public.’’

“At the same time, the press has a responsibility to put out accurate information,” she continued. “Just yesterday the New York Times accused the Secretary of State for being AWOL – AWOL! – when he was flying across the globe to bring three Americans home. That’s an outrageous claim!”

In addition to taking NY Times to the task, Sarah Sanders also raised questions about Washington Post, a newspaper Mr. Trump clearly doesn’t like as one can tell from her previous Tweets about the same.

‘’Washington Post, earlier this week, accused the First Lady of not living in the White House. That outrageous claim was then repeated again in this room.”

Despite her clarifications and counter-arguments, the White House Correspondents Association was having none of that.

“Some may excuse the president’s inflammatory rhetoric about the media, but just because the president does not like news coverage does not make it fake,” said Margaret Talev, the White House Correspondents Association chief.

What Trump Scrapping the Iran Nuclear Deal Means For Key Stakeholders

President Trump announced Tuesday to pull America out of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, also known as Iraq Nuclear deal, calling it a ‘’horrible, one-sided’’ deal.

American President Donald Trump announced Tuesday that he will be pulling the country out of the ‘’horrible, one-sided’’ Iran Nuclear deal.

This action of Trump has resulted in the violation of an International agreement and a UN resolution under which the Iran Nuclear Deal was signed in the first place by his predecessor Barrack Obama in July 2015.

In addition to breaking an International agreement, America has also broken one of its long-cherished principles of standing alongside its European allies, three of whom in Germany, France, and the UK were negotiators in and participants of the deal.

The US, its allies, and Iran aren’t the only parties that will be affected by Trump’s decision. In addition, the likes of Russia and China – two of America’s biggest competitors on the world stage’’ will also be affected. Also affected will be the United Nations under whose tutelage the deal was signed.

Effects on Iran

Upon the coming into force of Iran Nuclear deal in January 2016, America decided to unfreeze $100 billion worth of Iranian assets which it had blocked in the period of sanctions. With the money back in Iranian coffers, the Middle Eastern country started to show signs of progress, so much so that inflation and unemployment came to pre-sanction levels.

Now that the deal is off, all the good trends will be reversed for the Iranian Republic. Its liberals which, under the command of President Rouhani, had gained prominence in the country, will now feel sidelined. This will only embolden the Iranian Supreme Leader and his Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps to foment more trouble in the Middle East.

Effects on US Allies

As for America’s key allies in Germany, France, and the UK, Trump’s decision isn’t going to affect their governments directly. However, it would be a folly to say that they won’t be indirectly affected. For, in the wake of Iran Deal in 2015, many western financial institutions rushed to Iran for business.

However, now that Trump has given two separate deadlines of 90 and 120 days for foreign investors in Iran to wrap up their business, these organizations would have no choice but to head home. Otherwise, they risk becoming the target of American sanctions and losing access to the American market.

Therefore, with fewer profits for its companies, all Germany, France, and the UK will have America to blame for the absence of remittances that would have come to their countries had the Iran deal stood.

As historians might tell, it is not the first time that America had decided to ditch an International agreement despite being a founding member of the same deal. For, 100 years ago, America decided to ditch the idea of League of Nations, even though it was the American President Woodrow Wilson who had flouted its idea in the first place through his famous ‘’14 Points’’ Speech.

Still, America’s decision to ditch the Iran Nuclear deal is different to its backtracking over the League of Nations.

For, when America decided not to become a part of League of Nations – it wasn’t because its President had decided not to. Instead, it was the US Congress led by Hawks who killed the deal, which means that the decision not joining the League of Nations had implied public support.

Trump, however, cannot claim the luxury of even the ‘’implied’’ public support. For, in addition to every Democrat in the Congress, even some prominent Republicans like the ailing John McCain were in support of staying in the deal.

Effects on China and Russia

Russia and China were the only two non-US allies who were part of the Iran Nuclear deal. While both of them didn’t have much to gain from the deal – or lack of it – America’s decision to backtrack on its promise gives both of them enough opportunity to exploit it.

For, as far as China is concerned, it was visibly sidelined from the recent negotiations between North Korea and the United States. Now it can tell its Korean neighbors that since America couldn’t be trusted to keep its end of the bargain, Pyongyang should reach out to Washington only after passing through Beijing.

As for Russia, its state-owned oil company, Rosneft, had agreed on a deal worth $30 billion with its Iranian counterpart in 2017. However, now that the deal is off, any company investing in Iran would be subject to US sanctions. That means that Rosneft would have no choice but to back off, causing huge losses to the Russian Government.

First 10 Finalists of This Year’s Eurovision Chosen

One finalist is also chosen from Ireland, allowing the country to make its first appearance in the Eurovision Final since 2013.

Eurovision has announced the list of first 10 finalists which it has chosen for this year’s competition. In addition to Ireland, which will be making its first final appearance since 2013, the likes of Israel, Finland, and Cyprus have also progressed to the final stage.

Two countries that missed out on the qualification were Greece and Belgium. It was a shock for many of their residents as both these countries were tipped the favorites to not only progress to the Final, but also to win it.

It needs to be remembered that while only 10 Finalists were chosen from last week’s Semi-Final, a further 18-countries will guarantee their Final appearance after the semi-final which takes place this Thursday.

Germany, represented by Michael Schulte, is already in Saturday’s Final as it is one of the ‘’Big Five’’ countries which earn automatic qualification. The other four are England, Spain, Italy, and France. Though not in the Big Five, Portugal also earned automatic qualification this year due to them being the hosts of 2018’s Eurovision contest.

The countries whose acts made it through the first semi-final included: Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, Ireland, Israel, and Lithuania.

Netta from Israel is one of the bookmakers’ favorite to win the main prize this year after a resounding performance in the semi-final. Toy, her track in the semi-final, was based on a unique combination of female empowerment and quirky chicken dance.

Another country which many expect to be the winner this year is Cyprus. Representing the nation is pop-star Eleni Foureira who won the hearts of millions with her performance of ‘’Fuego’’, a track which is a combination of catchy and tropical beats.

Though not favorite, another of the famous participants in this year’s Eurovision is Czech Republic’s Mikolas Josef. His appeal is such that many of his fellow country mates tout Josef as Czech Republic’s answer to Justin Bieber.

The Finland’s Saara Aalto, whom the British audience knows from her time on the 2016 X-Factor, is another notable act. While he lost out in 2016, many of her UK fans expect Saara to go one better and clinch the final this time around.

Ireland, which is making its first final appearance since 2013, is represented by Ryan O’Shaughnessy in this year’s competition. The country has won more Eurovision finals – seven – than any other nation, but their last win in the competition came way back in 1996.

When asked by the viewer regarding his future plans, Charlize Theron confirmed that ‘Atomic Blonde 2’ is in the works.

The question put up to Charlize Theron wasn’t about ‘Atomic Blonde 2’. It wasn’t even about his future plans, instead, the interviewer had innocuously asked her about whether she should be the next James Bond, an idea circulated around after Chris Hemsworth said the same a few days ago.

After admitting that ‘’it’s super-flattering’’ to even imagine herself in that role, Charlize Theron said that there was nothing like that in the pipeline. What she did confirm, however, was that ‘Atomic Blonde 2’ is currently in the making.

‘Atomic Blonde 2’ would be the sequel to the 2017 action-thriller in which Theron kicked some ass in the role of super spy Lorraine Broughton. The film created a lasting impression on the box office as it collected over $90 million at the worldwide box office.

‘Atomic Blonde’, the 2017 super-hit movie, revolved around one Lorraine Broughton, an elite spy in the British Intelligence Agency MI6. She’s sent to Germany when the Berlin Wall is about to fall. Her mission? To not only retrieve a hugely important dossier but also bust a deadly espionage ring before the fall of Berlin wall.

As the storyline of the Atomic Blonde reveals, the film was full of action and drama, hence the reason behind its success on the global box office. However, while Theron confirmed that there would be ‘’Atomic Blonde 2’’ and that she would be playing the major role yet again – she refused to reveal any story about the plot line.

Still, we hope that the film is going to follow the lead of its prequel. For, if that’s going to happen, we’re in for some highly-technical bone-breaking action and lots of spy disguises.

The Coming Together of Camila Cabello and Kane Brown for “Never Be the Same’’ has surprised many people as both the singers belong to different genres.

One of them is at the top of her game in the pop genre – while the other leads the world in country, but that didn’t stop both Camila Cabello and Kane Brown from coming together for ‘’Never Be the Same’’ Duet.

Ever wondered the reason for their meet-up? Well, you’re not alone, as the entire music world – including Sony Nashville CEO/chairman Randy Goodman – were also taken by surprise when they first heard the match-up of Cabello and Brown.

Most people think that from the match-up, Cabello has nothing significant to gain. After all, her original solo version of the same song has occupied the No. 1 spot on pop radio.

Still, that misses the point as Brown is no newcomer either. For, in addition to the fact that his single ‘’Heaven’’ is currently ranked 2nd in that format – Brown’s platinum debut album is, for the last 11 weeks, USA’s top-selling country album.

So, if both of them are already hugely successful in their genres, what do they have to gain from this makeshift relationship? Everything, as both the stars now tell us.

In an interview to variety, Brown wasn’t ashamed in saying that he was the one who pursued Camila for the musical relationship. He says that he ‘’loved Havana’’ and feels like his and Camila’s voice ‘’would match well’’.

Still, while Brown was eager for the meet-up, he was unsure about the response of Cabello to his offer. After all, she was enjoying the success of ‘’Havana’’ and hardly needed any help from a co-star.

However, as it turned out, the team of Cabello was also thinking along the same lines. Joey Arbagey, the executive VP of A&R, says that they had started looking for someone to star alongside Cabello in the duet since as far as January.

While they were undoubtedly looking for a co-star, Kane Brown’s name wasn’t on the top of the wish list. Instead, Cabello’s team was considering Sam Hunt at first, and it was only after Cabello expressed her desire to work alongside Kane that his team decided to do the same.

The whole plan came to fruition just a month before the release of the track. After getting the go-ahead from Cabello, Arbagey took Brown and both of them went to a Nashville studio. Frank Dukes, the producer of Cabello, also chimed in, adding percussion and guitars to the tracks, hence making it perfect for release.

‘Westworld’ Recap: Season 2, Episode 3 Described

In “Virtù e Fortuna”, the third episode of Season 2 of ‘’Westworld’’, the hit HBO series moves into uncharted territory.

In the 3rd episode of the 2nd Season of ‘’Westworld’’, Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) is told by Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) that this world is just a tiny spot on the much bigger world’s surface.

While his claim was true – as the world is much bigger than the park in which both of them live – but the grandeur of the park was much more than anyone could have imagined. For, of the two parks which we were able to see in this episode – there are at least six that we know of – robot elephants were shown grazing in the fields.

On the whole, we think that “Virtù e Fortuna” was a solid advertisement of the drama’s second season, though, at the same time, we could argue that it was not as exciting as its immediate predecessors.

For one thing, the episode dragged the story of Bernard and Charlotte, though it was able to attract the attention of its audiences by moving some of the smaller stories along, like Hector’s and Maeve’s relationship and Teddy’s lack of trust in Dolores.

More importantly for the health of this show, the 2nd episode was able to carve up new mysteries, an important feat considering the fact that few of our big questions – which we had coming into this season – were already answered.

For instance, we don’t know the identity of the woman from the other park. Nor do we know how was Bernard able to survive, or the ‘’consciousness’’ of hosts apart from Maeve, Bernard, and Dolores.

Tiger’s Eye

The best scene in “Virtù e Fortuna” was when it gave us a peek outside the Westworld park, as we haven’t been out of it before that. We are taken to a nameless world – probably in Imperial India – where we meet two guests, a man, and a woman.

Both of them immediately fall in love with each other, and after spending some time in their room, the woman shot the man to make sure that he was real and not a host. While the man didn’t die that day, he was killed the next in a jungle when the pair decides to go on a tiger hunt near the edge of their park.

After killing the man, the tiger also chases the woman to the park’s edge. However, unlike her man, she proves to be industrious as she shoots the tiger near the edge of the cliff.

Finally, when the episode’s about to end, we are shown that the woman – despite falling off the cliff’s edge – was able to survive. However, her troubles were not yet over as, after crawling to the safety of the shore, she comes to know that she is under the jurisdiction of Ghost Nation.

Family Ties

The episode also takes us back to the ‘’present’’ where Bernard, Stubbs, and Karl find Charlotte. She’s surprised not only to see Bernard alive but also about him still finding Peter Abernathy. Afterward, Bernard comes back to the future where he, alongside Charlotte, is searching for Abernathy.

Both of them are then kidnapped, alongside a large number of gala guests, by the rapist hosts. With his usual trickery, Bernard is able to sway one of the hosts to release both of them, after which they are able to rescue Abernathy.

However, just before they are able to run away, both Bernard and Abernathy, are caught by the Confederados, while Charlotte gets away. Aiming to save Abernathy – whom she considers her father despite knowing that she wasn’t born, but made – Charlotte was able to lure QA forces to help her.

In the meantime, the Confederados take both Bernard and Abernathy to the fort. By a stroke of good fortune, Dolores happens to be at the same fort. She recruits the general of the fort to help her in exchange for the machine guns of QA forces.

Assault

In the final stages of the episode, the security guards of Delos attack the Confederado fort, with their attack getting the enemy by surprise. However, once Angela blows the nitro, things start to go wrong for the Delos employees as well as the Dolores’ allied Confederados.

After shutting down all of them on the gate’s outside, Dolores men shot the Confederados through the door. When few survivors are left, Dolores asks Teddy to do the noble deed and kill them. However, he is unable to do so. He grants the remaining survivors pardon and, as we see in the last few seconds of the episode, Dolores wasn’t too happy with that.

Then, in the last scene of the episode, a shaky Bernard was seen being dragged away from the battlefield by Clementine.

For an actor who won an Oscar back in his heyday, Robin Williams was unable to remember his lines in the last few days of his life, his new biography reveals.

That was unusual, if not right out-of-the-blue, for an actor who had won an Oscar back in his heyday. The situation got so out of control that during the filming of ‘’Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb’’, he was crying.

“He was sobbing in my arms at the end of every day. It was horrible. Horrible,” makeup artist Cheri Minns recalled. “I said to his people, ‘I’m a makeup artist. I don’t have the capacity to deal with what’s happening to him.’ ”

And the reason for his bad health? A brain disorder which was not immediately diagnosed but which took away his vitality from him and ultimately led Williams to the Brink, after which he took his own life.

That’s according to Robin (Henry Holt & Co.), a new biography of Robin Williams written by Dave Itzkoff which will be out later this month. It reveals the heartbreaking details surrounding the final stages of his life.

Although William was already diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease – a diagnosis which still gave him 10-years to live, the behaviors which he showed in the last few days of his life were uncharacteristic of that disease, leading some of his close ones to blame alcohol or drugs for his incessant problems.

It was not until a neuropathologist saw Williams and diagnosed his disease – diffuse Lewy dementia – that William’s close ones came to know about the real source of his pain.

Lewy Body Dementia is the 2nd most common progressive dementia’s type after Alzheimer’s disease. It causes protein deposits in the brain to adversely affect memory, thinking, body movements, and emotions.

Robin William’s Fall from Grace

It was in February 1978 that Robin was unable to land a guest-role of Mork from Ork on the then hit-show, ‘’Happy Days’’. So popular did his act go that by the following year, in 1979, the show was attracting 60-million viewers per episode.

After his success on the silverscreen, big-screen stardom soon found Williams. An Academy Award nomination came his way in 1987 for his portrayal of the Vietnam’s Radio Hose in ‘’Good Morning, Vietnam’’.

Other super-hit roles followed, including 1989’s ‘’Dead Poets Society’’, 1997’s ‘’Good Will Hunting’’, and 1991’s ‘’The Fisher King’’. His role in ‘’Good Will Hunting’’ was so praised that Williams won an Oscar for it.

However, for an actor who could do no wrong in the 80s and the 90s, the start of the 21st century brought with it a number of mega-flops for Williams. At the same time, his long-time addiction with drugs and alcohol also reared its ugly head, so much so that he admitted himself into a rehab facility in 2006.

Ultimate, his struggles went out of hand and after the diagnosis of diffuse Lewy Dementia, William’s health forced him to take his own life.

In her recent interview, Cate Blanchett shares her views on the ongoing Women’s Rights movement in Hollywood, Harvey Weinstein, and her upcoming role at the Cannes Film Festival.

Cate Blanchett is no stranger to the Cannes Film Festival; after all, she has been visiting it over the past two decades in different capacities. Still, the significance of the role which she is going to play at 2018’s Cannes Film Festival – President of the Jury – isn’t lost on her.

For, in the multi-decade long history of the film festival, it will only be the 12th time that a woman will fill that seat. Worse, in the seven-decade-long history of the festival, Jane Campion remains the only woman to have received the prestigious Palme d’Or award for ‘’The Piano’’.

In addition to these two events, there’s another incident which Blanchett recalls which showed her in black and white terms the glaring gender gap in the industry.

Back in 2014, all the previous winners of Palme d’Or were invited to the 50th-anniversary ceremony of the film festival. Guess what, there was only one woman winner, Jane Campion, surrounding by an all-male crowd of previous award winners.

Blanchet, after pointing our attention to that event, recalls what she said after she had seen it for the first time: ‘’There’s something wrong’’.

Differentiating today’s struggle for women for equality in the Hollywood from those of previous times, Blanchett points out one major difference.

“This conversation has been had by so many individual women in isolated places for decades. What is different now is the collective, cross-industry nature of this movement.” She says in an interview to Variety.

Blanchett, 48, criticizes the shocking pay inequities of the Industry which has only seen the light of the day in the past few years. She says that just like her fellow actresses – Michelle Williams, Jennifer Lawrence, and Claire Foy among them – she has also not been given the same pay as the one given to her male colleagues.

Blanchett: I was harassed by Harvey Weinstein

For the first time in his life, Blanchett reveals that just like many other women in the Hollywood, she too was sexually harassed by Harvey Weinstein. When the interviewer asked her whether she’d support Dylan Farrow’s case against Woody Allen on allegations of sexual abuse, Blanchett says she’d fully support the case if it was reopened.

For an Australian who now lives in London, Blanchett says she has passions outside of acting as well. For instance, during the days she was being interviewed by Variety, Blanchett, who the UN High Commissioner for Refugees named as its goodwill ambassador in 2016, visited the refugee camps in Bangladesh.

She also went to Jordan and Lebanon to meet the stateless people and refugees whose lives have been ravaged by the 7-year long Syrian conflict.

Finally, in the closing stages of her interview, Blanchett is asked by the interviewer about her role as an editor in the Cannes Film Festival. She describes it as an ‘’enormous responsibility’’, and that she ‘’can’t wait for the conversation’’ surrounding the movies which the panel would be viewing to select the winner.

Previously named as ‘’Sabrina the Teenage Witch’’ series, Netflix has decided to title the horror drama series as ‘’Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’’, after the graphic novel of Archie Comics on which the series is based.

The news was announced in an uncharacteristic fashion on Wednesday as it wasn’t the Netflix’s official account which made the announcement. Instead, it was the series creator Roberto Aguirre Sacasa who made the announcement on his Twitter account.

Starring Man Men alum Kiernan Shipka, ‘’Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’’ introduces the audience to half-with half-mortal Sabrina who stands against evil forces that not only threaten her but also her family as well as the daylight.

It was in September 2017 that Netflix broke the news that it will be airing ‘’Sabrina the Teenage Witch’’. While the title of the show has only recently been confirmed, it was known right from the time of the announcement that the series will be based on Archie Comics.

For, before launching ‘’Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’’, Netflix has enjoyed widespread success with another story from Archie Comics; Riverdale. Hence Netflix knew that if it went back to borrow another story from Archie Comics, there’s already a market for such dramas.

Who Is Starring in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina?

In addition to Kiernan Shipka who will play the role of Sabrina, Ross Lynch is also selected for the show. He will play the role of Sabrina’s caring boyfriend Harvey Kinkle. Michelle Gomez from ‘’Doctor Who’’ and ‘’Green Wing’’ will be playing the role of the villain.

Also joining the cast will be the debutant Chance Perdomo who will play the role of Ambros, British cousin of Sabrina. The TV series also features Miranda Otto as Aunt Zelda, Tati Gabrielle as Sabrina’s rival Prudence, and Bronson Pinchot as her school principal George Hawthorne.

The directors of the show are yet to confirm the voice behind Salem the cat.

In an extremely strange turn of events, Meghan Markle’s stepbrother has written an open letter to Prince Harry asking him to call off the Royal Wedding.

Thomas Markle Jr., the estranged step-brother of Meghan Markle, has told Prince Harry that ‘’it’s not too late’’ to call off the engagement. This letter has come just a fortnight before the May 19th Royal Wedding.

In the letter – which Thomas Markle has addressed directly to Prince Harry – Meghan Markle has been called as a ‘’ “jaded, shallow, conceited woman’’. It further warns Prince Harry that Meghan Markle ‘’will make a joke of you the royal family heritage”.

Published by In Touch magazine, the letter also says: ‘’ “As more time passes to your royal wedding, it became very clear that this is the biggest mistake in royal wedding history.’’

“Meghan Markle is obviously not the right woman for you. I’m confused why you don’t see the real Meghan that the whole world now sees.’’

If that wasn’t enough to sully the reputation of his sister, Thomas then goes on to launch a scathing attack on the upcoming member of the Royal Family by calling her a ‘’below C average Hollywood actress’’ who is merely attempting to ‘’act the part of a princess’’.

In the handwritten letter, Thomas Markle blames his sister and their father for financially jeopardizing him. He alleges that it was him who funded Markle’s dream of becoming an actress and that his decision to fund her dream has caused Thomas to struggle ‘’to this day’’.

He continued: ‘’ “What kind of person starts out by using her own father until he’s bankrupt, then forgets about him in Mexico leaving him broke, over mostly all her debts, And when it’s time to pay him back she forgets her own father like she never knew him.’’

The letter concludes with a somber tone: ‘’ “Meghan is still my sister. She is family. So whatever happens is up to her, whether she wants to forget knowing me or the rest of her family, family comes first.’’

It is not the first time that Mr. Markle has hit out at her half-sister. He slammed Ms. Markle a few months ago as well for having ‘’forgotten her roots’’ and forgetting his family. The half-siblings haven’t seen each other since 2011 when they met at the funeral of their grandmother, Doris.

In addition to removing his name, the Academy has confirmed that the bust of Cosby, which they had earlier removed due to some construction works, won’t be returned for display.

Just a few days after he was found guilty of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman, Television Academy has announced it will be removing all references to Bill Cosby from its website. His name will also be removed from the honorees list which displays the Hall of Famers in the organization’s Television.

The Academy also confirmed Wednesday that a bust of Bill Cosby, which it had earlier removed due to some construction works at the site, will not be brought back for display.

However, the Academy confirmed that the organization isn’t thinking to take back the four Primetime Emmy awards which Cosby won back in his heyday. Also, for the time being at least, Cosby’s name remains in the academy’s Television Hall of Fame.

The verdict in the case has tarnished the moralizing public figure image of Bill Cosby which he had taken decades to build back in his heyday in the 70s and the 80s. And while he said he committed no wrongdoing in this case, Mr. Cosby, in recent years, had admitted to philandering, and to giving Quaaludes – a sedative drug – to women to have sex with them.

The Case

The case was brought against him by Andrea Constand. In addition to Andrea Constand, there were five other women who testified in front of the jury, accusing Bill Cosby of sexually assaulting them.

Each of the three counts on which Cosby was charged carry a sentence of up to 10 years, with 5 years as the lower limit. Legal experts are of the view that, under the Pennsylvania law, each count’s sentence should run concurrently. That means that Cosby is likely facing a decade behind bars.

The first trial against Bill Cosby, which took place last summer, was declared a mistrial after the jury was unable to reach a verdict after six days of deliberations.

When the verdict was announced last Thursday, an expressionless Cosby quietly stared down. Ms. Constand, the plaintiff in the case who showed remarkable control throughout the trial, was hugged by her lawyer and her supporters.

While Mr. Cosby refused to comment on the verdict or whether he planned to appeal, his lead lawyer, Thomas A. Mesereau Jr., was more forthcoming outside the court. He said that his client intends to appeal the verdict.

In his real life, Gotti was known to those close to him by many names: Dapper Don, Teflon Don, or just Gotti. Whatever they called him, they respected and more importantly feared him.

Gotti was admitted into the Gambino Crime family at a young age when the then underboss, Aniello Dellacrose (Stacey Keach), took him under his wing.

Employing a combination of street smarts, guile, cunning, and ruthless determination, Gotti took little time to scale the heights and earn for himself the title of ‘’Capo’’ in the organization, while earning big bucks in the meantime.

The trailer, which is just over 2 minutes long, showcases brilliantly the resentment which Gotti felt towards the leadership of the group. To change the hierarchy of the group, he started making trusted alliances and soon overthrew the boss to become the head of the Crime Family.

The journey of ‘’Gotti’’ the movie

In an effort to return capital to its investors, Apple announced Tuesday its decision to buy back $100 billion in stock, though the company didn’t disclose the timeline for the repurchases.

It was in January that Apple surprised its investors with the announcement that it would be bringing back most of the $252 billion which it held overseas. Back then, Apple’s announcement had come in the wake of new tax law which granted organizations tax exemptions from bringing overseas money home.

While the investors knew in advance that Apple would be buying back shares, what they didn’t know was what Apple would do with the cash pile. On Tuesday, therefore, the investors came to know that they should expect to a huge windfall.

If that wasn’t enough to appease its investors, Apple undertook another bold move on Tuesday. It announced that it would be increasing dividends for its investors by 16% to 73 cents per share. This dividend increase has made Apple the largest dividend payer, leaving the previous market leader Exxon Mobil behind.

Due to high sales in the overseas markets, Apple’s cash pile had become gargantuan over the years. So much so that in the buildup to this report, it was reported that Apple had $267 billion in cash reserves abroad.

However, since under the previous American tax law any money brought back from overseas was subject to high tax rates, Apple remained adamant not to bring it back home.

The situation changed only a new tax cut which gives organizations huge tax exemptions on the money they would bring back to America from overseas.

Investors Set to Earn Windfall

If there’s one person who the investors should thank for receiving a windfall, it is President Trump. For it is only due to his tax cut that Apple decided to buy back its stock and benefit from lower tax rates.

Share buyback, as the term is known in financial circles, is great not only for Apple’s investors but also for its executives and employees. That is, because, it produces a limit on the supply of shares per sale, hence lifting the stock prices by decreasing the supply.

Not everybody, though, is praising President Trump after Apple’s move. Some people are worried that the proposed buyback could dissuade Apple from investing in research and development, or hiring. Others contend that it would increase economic inequality as only the wealthiest people would stand to benefit from it.

The ’13 Reasons Why’ drama series, which has become controversial for its depiction of teen suicide, will be aired for the 2nd season running on Netflix.

Netflix has announced that it will premiere the season 2 of highly controversial ‘’13 Reasons Why’’ drama series on May 18, 2018. The online streaming giant announced the premiere data on its social media, alongside the caption, “The tapes were just the beginning.”

The announcement has come days after Netflix teased the fans of ‘’13 Reasons Why’’ with various posts over the last few days. One of these posts, which were posted on Monday, contained a live stream showcasing two Polaroid photos, leaving fans of the drama series wondering for several hours.

While the announcement regarding the Premiere data has come out just now, Season 2 of the ‘’13 Reasons Why’’ was confirmed last May. The debut season was aired in March 2017 and its content quickly generated widespread buzz.

‘’13 Reasons Why’’ drama series is based on a young-adult book of author Jay Asher by the same name. The protagonist of the drama is a high-school girl, Hannah, who has committed suicide but not before leaving 13 cassette tapes for her boyfriend Clay.

The movie, therefore, revolves around those tapes in which Hannah, whose role is played by Katherine Langford, tells Clay (Dylan Minnette) the reason for her suicide. The drama also includes stars Alisha Boe, Christian Navarro, Justin Prentice, Brandon Flynn, Miles Heizer, Kate Walsh, and Brian d’Arcy James.

Season 2 of the drama begins in the immediate aftermath of the death of Hannah, before showing how his friends and family cope with her death while also trying to piece together their lives. It has also been revealed that in the second season, parents of Hannah will file a lawsuit against her school.

Source of Controversy of ‘’13 Reasons Why’’

As told earlier, the whole drama revolves around the suicide of a high-school girl, hence the reason why it is so controversial. So furious was the uproar after its first episode was aired last year that Netflix decided to add more viewer warnings.

What’s more, Netflix has now revealed that the Second Season will contain a new warning video before each episode to tell viewers the ways to get help. Netflix is also planning an after-show, ‘’Beyond the Reasons’’, in which the actors of the show, in addition to experts and educators try to break down the logic behind the series.

Despite courting so much controversy, ‘’13 Reasons Why’’ enjoyed widespread popularity in its maiden season. For, it became 2017’s fourth most tweeted about TV show, lagging only behind Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, and Big Brother.
