The CW has found its Batwoman!!!

CW has cast model-actress Ruby Rose to play Kate Kane – Batwoman. The character, Ruby Rose, will be introduced in the next network’s annual DC crossover event in the winter. Also, the network is also developing a stand-alone series around the character.

Rose rose to fame after joining the cast of Netflix’s Orange is the New Black in season 3 as Stella Carlin. We impressed by her roles in stand-out movie performances in Pitch Perfect 3, XXX: The Return of Xander Cage and John Wick: Chapter 2. She’s also in the upcoming killer shark movie The Meg.

This December Rose will make her debut in this year’s DC crossover event, which will include many DC characters: Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl (but not DC’s Legends of Tomorrow).

Deadpool 2 became the highest earning R-Rated film of all time and received pretty overwhelmingly positive reviews from both the public and the critics.

In one deleted scene, Wade (Deadpool) can be seen trying to adopt a new attitude and be a nice guy whilst they’re in the X Mansion. But Negasonic Teenage Warhead isn’t buying any of his bullshit.

There is another deleted scene that is known colloquially as ‘The Baby Hitler Scene’. Not because it was not significant enough for the full film- ‘The Baby Hitler Scene’ cut because it was just considered a bit “too much”. Ryan Reynolds has spoken about how he likes the scene with The Hollywood Reporter: “I always loved it, because it created the same debate in our edit room as it does in the streets of the world. It was debated back and forth, and over and over again.

“We were all a little nervous about it, wondering, ‘Is it too much?’ None of us could come to a consensus on how to handle it, so our final decision was to just not handle it, to just not put it in the movie.

“We cut it out partially for time, but also to give us something really fun to add into the coda of the DVD.”

It just a matter of weeks the extended Blu-ray and DVD copies of the film will release worldwide, and it will be nice for fans to get their hands on a copy with some extra content.

Disney’s Next Project Will Be About An African Princess in a live-action Princess Fairytale Movie ‘Sade’.

The studio bought a pitch from Ola Shokunbi and Lindsey Reed Palmer, who will co-write the screenplay about Sadé- a young African girl whose kingdom is threatened by an evil force and accepts her newly discovered magical powers and protect her people with the help of the kingdom’s prince.

This will be the first time that a Disney princess fairytale has an African female lead. Disney’s animated film, The Princess and the Frog, featured its first Black princess (Princess Tiana).

Tendo Nagenda is reported to be part of the Disney team leading the project.

After Netflix released a teaser of Stranger Things‘ but Netflix has just confirmed the show won’t be returning until the summer of 2019.

Netflix programming boss Cindy Holland stated “worth the wait,” of the 15 months wait between the seasons two and three. “It’s a handcrafted show,” continued Holland. “The Duffer Brothers and Shawn Levy – they understand the stakes are high. They want to deliver something bigger and better than last year. I think it’s going to be a fantastic season. It will be worth the wait.” Holland also added that season three will be delayed because of added special effects. “It’s a really exciting season, just takes a little more time,” Holland explained.

The new season is set to take place in the summer of 1985 and will introduce two new cast members.

Former WWE star Brian Christopher Lawler has died, the WWE confirmed Sunday. He was only 46-year-old.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation told that the former wrestling star Jerry “The King” Lawler was found hanging in his jail cell on Saturday. Officers reportedly performed CPR and Lawler was taken to a hospital in Memphis, where he died Sunday.

According to the AP, Lawler, son of WWE Hall of Fame wrestler, was placed in the Hardeman County Jail on July – after being booked on charges of driving under the influence, driving on a revoked license, and evading arrest.

Former two-weight world champion McGregor, the 30-year-old UFC superstar, was charged with assault and criminal mischief after he attacked a bus carrying fellow fighters in Brooklyn in April. McGregor could have been sentenced to a spell in jail but struck a plea bargain after pleading guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to five days of community service and anger management classes.

Indiana police investigating vandals paint Nazi symbols on a wall at a Jewish temple and the police are still investigating the incident.

Swastika, one of the Nazi symbols, and two iron crosses were discovered Saturday painted on a structure that is part of a Jewish synagogue in Indiana, the temple said.

The Nazi symbols were on a brick wall that goes around a dumpster at the Congregation Shaarey Tefilla in Carmel, just north of Indianapolis.

The synagogue has never been attacked before and has not received threats or harassing calls, said the temple’s media representative- Lindsay Shipps. Shipps also posted on Facebook: “We have focused on working with the Carmel police, communicating to our congregation, and working with the Indianapolis Jewish Community Relations Council and Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis to communicate to other congregations and other Jewish agencies to ensure that they are aware of the event and can take appropriate measures,”

Rabbi Benjamin Sendrow responded: “We are deeply disappointed in the horrific vandalism that occurred at our congregation. Intolerance, hatred and violent acts against Jews are significant realities today. The response to this heinous act affirms that America is collectively outraged at these hateful acts in our neighborhoods.”

Carmel Mayor Jim Brainard said the police are still investigating the incident. “There is no place for this kind of hatred in Carmel and it does not reflect the respectful and welcoming nature of the vast majority of our residents, who come from many different cultural and faith backgrounds,” Brainard said.

Shabbat services were not delayed.

Amazon’s experiment to put their TV pilots online for viewer feedback is officially done.

Amazon has been relatively unique among streaming giants in not only requesting pilots but putting them up for a vote by the viewers. But the democratic process is done- Amazon Studios executives told reporters at press tour in Beverly Hills on Saturday that Prime Video pilot voting has been “set aside for now.”

Amazon will still use both its own internal testing and “some user data” to make the call on whether a show goes forward. It’s not that Amazon doesn’t trust viewer feedback, Amazon just not convinced the pilots themselves are necessary.

James Corden might think twice about teasing Tom Cruise in future. post factum, it probably was not the Brit’s smartest moment to tease Cruise’s stunts on The Late Late Show. After Corden criticises one of Tom Cruise’s stunts, Cruise challenged the chat show host to do a skydive.

Cruise appeared with Angela Bassett on CBS’ The Late Late Show earlier this week to promote their new movie, “Mission: Impossible – Fallout“. After showing a clip from his new movie, which, in the clip Cruise performed a HALO jump, and hurling himself out of an airplane at 25,000 feet and opening his parachute “very low”.

Cruise explained his commitment to performing his own stunts. “I can’t help it. I’m 100 percent when I do something,” he said. “I want to give the audience the very best, so that’s what I do.”

It was a dare that Corden couldn’t be ignored, and he took on Cruise’s challenge to skydive out of an airplane over the Perris Valley in California and after a bit of training and with a camera team in tow, he took a bit of a nasty tumble upon landing.

Before jumping from the plane, he joked: “If we both die, I will get zero press.”

West stood next to Mike Myers, gave a deadpan stare to the camera and announced, “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.” Myers was left speechless until the camera operator cut the live broadcast.

Is Miley Cyrus a B***H? 

Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus used to be good friends. What happened? Cyrus told The New York Times that Minaj wasn’t very nice.

Cyrus was responding to a rather minor argument Minaj had with Taylor Swift. Minaj tweeted about her feeling about the song “Anaconda” that it was snubbed by the VMAs in favor of women with “very slim bodies”, and Swift assumed the tweet was about her, even it wasn’t. Later, Minaj explained her reaction to MTV. She claiming Cyrus should have been more sensitive about black issues if she wanted to enjoy the culture.

Don’t forget- these uncomfortable words were coming from a celeb who believes humans are plagued by the souls of 75-million-year-old aliens. Only years later, Cruise apologized to Shields.
