The new version of Telegram added more features that makes Whatsapp look obsolete.
There’s a list of whats new in this version –
One of the best features for this version is tabs, or “folders” as Telegram calls it. With all the groups and open chats the app can feel a bit uncomfortable to navigate. Now you can open folders per interest like work, friends, family, school and so on. This feature can help you avoid mistakes and make the app feel organized.
Tabs on Destktop
The tab feature will automatically sync with your desktop app and because of the bigger screen you will have an icon next to each folder for better navigation
Swipe to Archive
Instead of deleting old chats or group chats you can swipe it to the left and sent it to the archive. If you get a new message, the chat will come back to life and move to the main screen. If you used the tab option, you will have to press the chat and then choose to move it to the archive.
Need to settle an argument? If you send the cube emoji it will turn into an animated video that will choose a number randomly.
If you have many subscribers on your Telegram channel you can get statistics on the its growth – New members Best hours to publish a post Stats on interactions Sources of the new members Members’ language Highest ranking posts and much more
Telegram added new animated emojies to their app… Even a covid-19 emoji!
Huawei just held an online event were they presented the new P40 to the market which includes some improvement in performance but the most unique part is its 5 cameras. The biggest concern for this device is – can the customers enjoy it without Google play and Google’s apps?
The P40 will come with Kirin 990 processor – the most advanced processor of Hi-Silicon and it should be 23% faster than the last model. The GPU will be 39% faster than the last model.
Slick Design –
This device has round screen from each side. If you like the effect of the screen sliding down to the sides, now you will experience it on the top and bottom of the device as well.
The P40 will have 6.1-inch screen, while the P40 Pro and P40 Pro Plus will have 6.58-inch screen.
The Cameras –
The new device contains 5 cameras – 4 cameras and a sensor for depth and 3D effects
The P40 will have 100 times zoom, which is a nice additions since the S20 has the same feature.
There is another new feature – Best Movement – it will allow you to take multiple pictures and an AI algorithm will pick the best one for you.
The Pro and the Pro Plus models has a battery of 4,200 mAh while the regular model has 3,800 mAh.
Finger-print reader –
The finger print reader is 30% bigger and according to Huawei, it is also 30% faster. But this is not the only authentication mechanism in this new device – you will be able to open the device with an infra-red camera which will allow you to open your phone in total darkness.
No Google? No Problems
Huawie tries to show that everything is normal and that they can handle the fact that due to Trump’s sanctions, all of their mobile devices will lack Google’s support – that means no Google play, no gmail, no google maps and more.
Huawei developed its own app store which has more than 1.3 million developers and 400 million users every month in over 170 countries.
Price and Availabilty
The Huawei P40 collection should arrive to Europe on April 7th, but it can delay due to the Coronavirus.
The prices are pretty similar to those of the iPhone 11 –
Huawei P40 will cost 800 euros, the P40 pro will cost 1,000 euro and the P40 pro plus will cost 1,400 euros.
While the coronavirus spread all over the world and many people might lose their jobs for the foreseeable future, but there are some lucky people who continue to work from home and they might enjoy it – Programmers
You can learn how to program while you stay at home and maybe find a side hustle or your next career –
first of all, you need to define your goals –
Do you want to build a chat bot?
Do you want to build a website for yourself?
Do you want to analyze data more efficiently with SQL?
These goals will help you find you path toward success.
After understanding your goals, find information about it. Ask yourself what program language you need to learn in order to achieve those goals.
Third step is understanding your sources –
It might be books, interactive online course, a friend who can guide you or anything else that comes to mind
The forth step is the most important one –
LEARNING THE LANGUAGE
Take your time, understand the basics of the language and learn how to program the right way. There are lots of videos that show you step by step how to create anything you want but if you copy and paste the instruction, nothing good will come out of it.
If you really into it I would recommend purchasing a serious course online that explains also the basics and fundamental principles of programming
The fifth part is the most fun one –
Build anything you like! Get crazy with ideas and always look for new projects to build!
You will see that most of the learning is done by projects and not by traditional learning so look for opportunities to write your own code and programs!
After Microsoft revealed the full spec of the new Xbox, Sony is ready to do the same and as fans of gaming consoles all we got to do is wish the best of luck for both of them and start saving some cash.
Lets start with the CPU. The PS5 will have Zen 2 processor with 8 cores of AMD with a speed of 3.5 GHz. The GPU is also powerful and will be able to make 10 trillion calculates per second with 36 dynamic processing units with the speed of 2.23 GHz.
The console will have 16 GB RAM and 825 GB of SSD storage.
The PS5 will have a unique feature that the new Xbox lacks – Sony will have some sort of dynamic speed management – the Playstation will allocate power between the CPU and GPU according the game needs.
Sony is very proud in their transition into NVMe based SSD for the new console. It means that if 1GB took 20 sec to load on the PS4, now 2GB will take 0.27 sec to load, pretty amazing right?
The new console will support external hard drives.
The full specs –
CPU: AMD Zen 2-based CPU with 8 cores at 3.5GHz (variable frequency)
GPU: 10.28 TFLOPs, 36 CUs at 2.23GHz (variable frequency)
Memory: 16GB GDDR6 / 256-bit
Storage: 825GB SSD
Expandable storage: NVMe SSD slot
And how does it looks against the Xbox Series X?
On paper? Both console looks good and pretty much the same.
For now, Microsoft got more attention due to the fact that they managed to get more out of the same processor – CPU of 3.8 GHz. Moreover, the Xbox Series X will offer 1TB of storage.
But we don’t really think any buyer will make his decision based on such small factors and they probably will get the console they are familiar with.
Zen 2 processor with 8 cores @ 3.8 GHz, RDNA 2-class graphic engine, 16 giga RAM and 1TB SSD of storage.
This machine will cast games at 4K @ 60 FPS, up to 120 FPS and will support the RayTracing technology that present light effects for more realistic pictures.
The usage of SSD hard-drive is one of the main reasons that the console’s performances at the demo – 40 second difference in loading time between Xbox One and Series X.
Microsoft shared a new feature called Xbox Velocity Architecture which combine hardware and software architecture and allows games to get the resources they need fast. Now developers can skip long cut scenes to load the next chapter of the game.
The controller is going to change as well – the controllers will fit the hand of an 8-year-old but it won’t worsen the gaming experience of someone with big hands. The controllers will be charged with USB type C.
We will be able to expand the memory of the console. Don’t get to excited because these special hard drives will cost about $200, so we will have to be very careful about it.
The coronavirus spread all over the world and made thousands of people to stay home with minimal contact with other humans.
In order to spend some time, probably most people will to turn to their favorite streaming service.
But there are many people who aren’t willing to pay for films and tv series. We all know that person who wants to share an account with you, and you will have to give them your password – NO MORE!
Joshua Browder, the founder of DoNotPay, developed a new add-on for people who don’t want to share their password. All you need to do is to download the extension to your Chrome browser, log in to your streaming service and select the content you would like to share.
This extension has two clear advantages –
Security – You will share a session without the need to send your password online – they will be able to watch anything they want, but won’t get access to your account info and credit card.
You can gain too – you will be able to share your Netflix account and in exchange, your friend can share his streaming service account with you!
You can share other types of accounts such as Amazon Prime and more!
The NCAA’s worst nightmare is happening… We all know March is the time of the year every NCAA fans are waiting for – March Madness is in less than 2 weeks, but with the coronavirus outbreak threatening players and fans, it’s not sure what will happen.
Brian Hainline, the NCAA’s chief medical officer said on Friday – “I think a worst-case scenario is that it’s played behind closed doors, it would be very, very difficult to cancel a championship and have it at any other time.”
The NBA is also gets ready for taking steps in order to ensure the safety of its players and fans. LeBron James, one of the best players in the league commented on the possibility to play in empty arenas –
“You mean play games without the fans? No. It’s impossible. I ain’t playing. Not without the fans in the crowd, that’s who I play for. … If I show up to an arena, and there ain’t no fans there, I ain’t playing. So they can do what they want to do”.
LeBron James is not a fan of the idea of potentially playing in a game without fans
