Rami Malek’s Live Aid Performance as Freddie Mercury In ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ Made completely freak out

Bohemian Rhapsody may be rocking it at the box office, but it’s received a mixed reception due to what some critics perceive as a ‘surface level’ examination of Freddie Mercury’s life, it’s pretty apparent that Rami Malek has captured the beautiful enduring spirit of Mercury.

The 37-year-old actor said to have watched Freddie Mercury’s 1985 Live Aid Performance more than 1,500 times on YouTube- because he wanted to nail his version of it- every hand gesture, step, head movement and even the pursuit of his lips matches up perfectly with Mercury’s as can be seen when both performances are put side-by-side.

It’s totally understandable why people completely freak out in the social network after watching the movie:

Speaking to WHO Magazine, Malek said: “I just kept pushing for more of that aspect of his life. “I don’t know if we ever felt fulfilled by it.”

What do you think? Rami should be nominated for an Oscar for this performance?

‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ Trailer is Out! “How many more Galileos do you want!?"

Rami Malek is an ideal actor to portray legendary Queen singer Freddie Mercury, as the second trailer from ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, the forthcoming biopic of the singer and the classic band he fronted, shows us.

The longer than the two-minute new trailer very exhilarating, with the classic music of Queen playing while the audience sees the band from its infancy to its rise to superstardom.

The official trailer for the Queen biopic ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ dropped Tuesday. The new trailer shows us a better backstage glimpse than a previous teaser, and the mood of this preview is in much more somber than the teaser.

Bohemian Rhapsody is “his (Freddie Mercury) story” as the trailer says, not really needing the explanation beyond Malek-as-Mercury’s response to the complaining Roger Taylor: “Roger,” Malek’s Mercury replies calmly, “there’s only room in this band for one hysterical queen.”

“Is this the real life?
Is this just fantasy?”
