The Fans Want a Change!

Angry Lakers fans protested outside the team’s arena – the well-known Staples Center. The fans are not happy of how things turned out this past season.

The season started with high hopes when the Lakers managed to sign Lebron James, one of the greatest players of all time. But from that point, things started go sideways…

It continued when no other superstar signed with the team, then followed with questionable signs of free agents like Michael Beasley, Lance Stephenson, Javale McGee. If that wasn’t enough, the young core of the Lakers showed no signs of improvement despite the high hopes.

Against all odds, the Lakers took the 4^th seed in the west and things looked pretty good. But on Dec 25^th, Lebron got injured and missed almost 20 games and the young core as well and the Lakers found themselves out of the playoff race – for the six time in a row.

Then “Magic” Johnson, the team’s president of basketball operations and the one who convinced Lebron to sign with the Lakers, resigned without informing Jenny Bass – the team owner. They fired their head coach Luke Walton and still couldn’t find any other coach to replace him.

These days, we hear some rumors that the team is trying to trade Lebron…

The loyal fans are sick of this and they want a change.
