Taylor Swift warmly embraced her Nashville roots during the Music City stop of her Reputation Tour. She says Nashville taught her everything she knows about being a musician, Saturday night- August, 25.
“Every single thing that I do I’ve learned in Nashville, and I’m so incredibly grateful,” the singer had said mid-show at Nissan Stadium.
Performing at Nissan Stadium, the pop superstar recalled how she and her mother attended CMA Music Festival after moving to Nashville from Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. This place proved to be perfect for a big surprise: country greats Faith Hill and Tim McGraw joined Taylor Swift onstage for a Memorable performance of her debut single “Tim McGraw.”
Beginning the song solo at a piano, Swift welcomed Hill, who, upon appearing from beneath the stage, seemed to lose her place in the lyrics. Swift stepped in before introducing McGraw for a decidedly moment with all three singing the name-checking chorus. “When you think Tim McGraw,” she sang, while casually pointing at Tim McGraw to her left, “I hope you think my favorite song.”.
