Intel Revealed New PC Processor

Intel announced its new gen PC processors and claims it’s the fastest gaming processor ever made. The i9 processor can reach a speed of 5.GHz!

The past few years were pretty hard to Intel – The CEO stepped down, their products had security issues, AMD developed high-quality products and other problems.

But Intel showed us why they have been the leading company in this field for many years and now they announced their 10 Gen desktop processors, and it seems promising.

At the front of its new cores – Series S, Intel developed the 10900K processor – i9 processor, 10 cores and 20 threads which can get to 5.Ghz. Intel claims this is the best gaming processor that has been ever made. These processors are based on the Skylake 14-nanameter architecture and the cost of the best processor is about $500.

Along-side the 10900K processor, Intel announced few other processors:

10700K – i7 with 8 cores and 16 thread with a speed of 5.1GHz – $374

10600K- i5 with 6 cores and 12 thread with a speed of 4.8GHz – $262

All processors has Turbo Boost 3.0 which brings up the speed of the PC as long as its temperature is less than 70 degrees.

Intel also developed new cores for customers who doesn’t need this kind of performances.

Intel Developed 5.GHz Core for Laptops

Intel announced on its 10-gen processors, which for the first time will cross the 5.0GHz. AMD is not far behind with its Ryzen 4000.

The coronavirus influenced on the laptop market due to the fact that most employees need to work from home and gamers has more time to play.

So it seems like a good time for Intel to announce on their new processors – Comet Lake Series, the strongest laptop processors in the market.

These processors as mentioned before are part of the Comet Lake series which based on the 14 nano meter architecture.

Core i9-10980K is the strongest processor of the new H series. It comes with 8 cores and 16 threads with a speed that starts in 2.4GHz and can reach to 5.3Ghz.

Besides this insane processor, Intel offers 5 new processors, all based on the Core i5 – 10300H.

Intel also revealed a new feature called Thermal Velocity Boost – when the CPU’s temperature will go down from 65 Celsius degrees, the speed will go up by 200Mhz.

Companies like Asus, MSI and Gigabyte already announced that their new laptops will include this new processor.

Lenovo Announced on a New Folding Laptop

After few tech giants such as Motorola and Samsung released folding phones, Lenovo is about to take the first step into the folding laptops industry.

Two and a half years ago Lenovo showed a new concept laptop that should be flexible as a newspaper. Back then it seemed so far fetched but today, it looks like the next evolution in laptop computers.

This folding laptop is a mix of laptop and smartphone. It will have a 13.3 – inch LG OLED screen and in any given moment you will be able to pull out a its Bluetooth keyboard that’s being charged when its not in use. You will be able to use your laptop as a tablet or divide it into two screens like a book.

Why would you use this folding laptop?

For example –

If you are in a university lecture, you will be able to open the slides on one side and write some comments on the other side.

You will be able to have a group chat or a face time call on one side and edit a document on the other side.

The ThinkPad X1 Fold will have intel processor and will run at first Windows 10 and later Windows 10X which will be built for folding devices.

The price tag is not so exciting – starting at $2,500.

This new laptop should arrive to stores in mid – 2020.
