The PG-13 version will see some of the more mature content removed, with a few new scenes added in for good measure.
The new cut will see Reynolds, in full Deadpool costume, telling the story of Deadpool 2 to a kidnapped Fred Savage back in the same bed he sat in for the 1987 flick “The Princess Bride.” You know, the movie he starred in as a child. “And nobody does childlike innocence like you Fred — nobody,” said Reynolds.
In the US, the film was rated R violence, sexual content, strong language, and obscenity. but while the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) has already given the new film a PG-13 rating for the US, over in the UK the BBFC (British Board of Film Criticism) has decided not to lower the rating because the supposedly family-friendly version is actually the same as the original Deadpool 2.
