The award show took place on Sunday night. Over 55 million teen’s votes were involved in selecting the top actors, athletes, and singers. Disney won the most awards (Marvel is owned by Disney).
This year’s award show took place in California and its hosts
were David Dobrik and Lucy Hale.
Like always, the ceremony included live performances by big
names such as OneRepublic, Zhavia, CNCO and more.

In order to have a healthy lifestyle, Ben Green who weighed
350 pounds loses almost half of his body weight, an eyepopping 140 pound(!!)
and achieved his goal and became a runner.
After dealing with health issues for over 20 years, Ben
decided to take control over his life. He says – “I had been obese since I
was 11-years-old and have had to deal with health complications for 22 years. My
mobility was suffering and I had to wear ankle supports all the time. I was in
constant pain.”
Green says he turned to food as a solution to deal with stress.
Ben added – “We were getting passed between parents and getting treated
all the time. We didn’t ever sit down for a family meal. My Nan lost her life
because of obesity. She became bed-bound and spent her last year unable to do
anything but lie on her sofa because of her mobility and pain.”
As expected he used to be bullied in school – “I got
punched in the face on my first day of secondary school. There have been times
where people have wound down car windows to shout abuse to me.”
Ben explains: “You think, as a man, that it’s just for
women – but as soon as I walked through the doors my eyes were opened. There
were pictures of men and stories about men who had lost weight – and I wanted
to be like them.”
His results are pretty amazing – lost 140 pounds, over 1.15
feet in his chest and 1.8 from his waist.
Green shares: “I always dreamed of being a runner, of
crossing the finish line and getting a medal. I lost four stone in 10 weeks and
that have me a huge confidence boost and I noticed my pain was going. When I’d
lost six or seven stone I stopped using my ankle supports. My ambition was that
I wanted to break the cycle of premature deaths in my family because of
obesity. I wanted to educate my children in healthy eating and how to have a
healthy lifestyle. Now, they cook with me in the kitchen and they love to help
me prepare meals.”
Home Alone became a classic instantly when it was released

Although most fans thought this franchise finished his way,
Disney announced that they decided to remake ‘Home Alone’ along with other
classics such as ‘Night at the Museum’ and ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid’.
This new project is expected to be released on Disney+.
Also, in the announcement, Disney used the word ‘reimagine’ which sounds like it might not be a total remake but just making the movie look better.

The new movie is the ‘live-action’ version of the legendary movie from 1994.
Although the movie is considered a great success based on
the box office revenues but most fans who grew up on the original movie are
pretty much disappointed.
Because the new edition of the film tries to be as realistic
as possible (let’s remember there are talking animals there), it feels like the
character can’t express their emotion correctly.
An Instagram artist by the name of Nikolay Mochkin couldn’t
step aside and made some modifications for the main characters –
According to Deadline, the VOD company now holds the rights for ‘The Rise Of Jordan Peterson’, a documentary about Jordan Peterson, the Canadian clinical psychologist. The documentary was directed by Patricia Marcoccia and should be released in October 2019.
Patricia tells the story of Peterson who gained attraction
at the start of 2016 due to his political opinion (his social media videos has
hundreds of millions of views). In 2018 he published his book “12 Rules For
Life” that been sold in 50 different languages and in about 3,000,000 copies worldwide.
She said – “Even people who think they’ve seen it all have not seen what we’ve
been able to capture in this film. It’s always been important to me that the
film remains nuanced, honest and human, especially in the polarized and
explosive media landscape we’re currently in.”
Gravitas Ventures’ CEO and founder, Nolan Gallagher said – “Gravitas is excited to release The Rise of Jordan Peterson,with director Patricia Marcoccia, who was at the forefront of documenting Peterson’s life. The documentary gives audiences a deeper look into the controversy surrounding Peterson. Whether you agree or disagree with him, we believe audiences will find the documentary captivating.”
‘The Continental’ will be a
prequel to the EPIC movie series “John Wick”.
The TV series will show us John’s life as a hitman prior to the tragic death of his wife and dog.
In an interview with
Deadline, Jeffrey Hirsch said that the TV show won’t release in the near
future. He said: “My sense is that where we are today, the movie date has been
set but we’re still in early development on the series so [it will air] most
likely after.”
It’s still unclear if John
Wick himself, Keanu Reeves will be a part of the new movie. Jeffrey continued –
“That’s a really good question that I’m not going to answer. ‘No answer’
is as good a tease you’re going to get. It’s a great franchise, we’re excited
about bringing that show to the network.”
Chad Stahelski, the director
of ‘The Matrix’ and ‘John Wick’ will be one of the executive producers of the
TV show and will direct the 1st episode of it.
Chad also shared some secret
info with Reddit when he was asked about the difficulty of making the ‘John
Wick’ movie series. He said “[The first one] was difficult because we didn’t
understand what we wanted to do. Number 2, we had to map up a whole world we
didn’t think of before. [Chapter 3], how do we expand and get the audience
something creative, not just bigger and cooler? Number 4, I’m certain, will be
more difficult.”
The end is near! No… Its sounds too dramatic… But the show ‘Baskets’
featuring Zach Galifianakis , Martha Kelly, Louie Anderson, will end after the
4th season. The last episode will air on Aug 22nd, 2019.

great FX comedies as an endearing and hilarious look at the dreams and ambition
of Chip Baskets and his extended, loving family. This show has been a joy for

The role Cristal Jennings have been recast in ‘Dynasty’s
recreation.
Confirmed by Deadline – Daniella Alonso will replace Ana
Brenda Contreras in the role of Cristal.
Josh Reims, the showrunner/ producer said –
“Unfortunately, Ana Brenda Contreras will not be returning
for the third season of Dynasty due to personal reasons. We’d like to thank her
for her contributions to the show and wish her all the best. We’re excited to
welcome Daniella Alonso who will step into the role of Cristal.”

Albert Cheng, Amazon Studios’ co-head of TV hinted on TCA today that the second season that was published 9 months ago will probably be the last one –
“At this time, we

A stuntman was injured on Universal’s UK production set,
which caused an abrupt stop in the production of ‘Fast & Furious 9’.
A spokesperson of Universal announced – “We had an injury on
the set of Fast 9 today in Leavesden with one of our stuntmen. We have halted
production for the day to focus on this situation.”
Hertfordshire Police published a statement as well: “Police
were called shortly before noon today following an incident at Warner Bros
Studios in Leavesden, Hertfordshire.”
East of England Ambulance Service’s spokesmen said to MailOnline: “An ambulance, three ambulance officer vehicles and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were called to Leavesden Studios shortly before midday today, following reports of a man injured in a fall. One patient with a serious head injury was transported to the Royal London Hospital by air ambulance.”
The stuntman that was injured is Vin Diesel’s stunt double, Joe Watts. Joe injured his head while performing a stunt and now in a coma. Tilly Powell, his fiancée wrote on Facebook:
“Joe has suffered a serious head injury and is in an
induced coma. He is stable and is being monitored closely throughout the night.
I love him so much and my heart is shattered. He has all his family and friends
by his side to get him through this!”
Kevin Feige from Marvel announced at Comic-Con panel that
Marvel’s biggest hit, ‘Avengers: Endgame’, is about to become the most grossing
movie of all time, passing Avatar’s record of $2.7897 billion global box office
that was set 9 years ago.
There is still a small gap of 500k USD but it should be closed
in a day or two.
Kevin announced in the Marvel panel – “Thanks to you,
Avengers: Endgame is the biggest film of all-time”.
Marvel (powered by Disney) add few deleted scenes on June 28th
– a post-credit scene, Hulk sequence and a Stan Lee tribute. All of these came
when ‘EndGame’ was trailing by 37 million dollars behind Avatar and even people
at Disney couldn’t believe that adding those scenes will get them past Avater,
but it eventually did.
The directors, Joe and Anthony Russo, shared their thoughts
about beating Avatar and they said – “The fact that people have responded to
Endgame this way and they’ve been following these characters for so long, it’s
cathartic for us to see in that the storytelling has played out globally. James
Cameron is an idol for us, and he’s fed our passion for filmmaking from the
beginning”
It’s really surprising to find out that there were only 5 movies that have been past the 2 billion marks at the global box office, and 4 of them are shared by Cameron (the director of Avatar) and the Russo brothers (the directors of The Avengers) –

But it’s not the real endgame – Disney will release Avatar 2,
directed by Cameron of course, on December 2021.
Disney is about to add an Oscar winner to ‘The Little
Mermaid’ Remake. Javier Bardem (No Country For Old Men) is one of the candidates
to play in the remake of the animated film.
Bardem is in talks for the role of Ariel father, King Triton.
Halle Bailey is already cast for the role of Ariel.
The script was made by David Magee and the director will be
Rob Marshall.

Last Weekend Con of Thrones took place in Nashville as serval
actors like Jaime Lanister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) ,Bronn (Jerome Flynn), Gilly
(Hannah Murray) and Syrio Forel (Miltos Yerolemou attended and was asked about
the last season of the EPIC show ‘Game of Thrones’.
Nikolaj Said – “This happens every season, we’re so lucky to
be part of a show where people … care so much about it that you also get upset
when it doesn’t go the way you want it to. And that’s fantastic, and I love it,
and I love that there was an online petition to have it rewritten.”
He also referred to the fans signing an online petition about
rewriting the final season and how it affected the showrunners David Benioff
and D.B. Weiss and the whole cast in general –
“The only thing I’ll say is that for anyone to imagine or to
think that the two creators of this show are not the most passionate, the
greatest, the most invested of all, and to for a second think that they didn’t
spend the last 10 years thinking about how they were going to end it, is kind
of silly, and also know that they too read the comments… they really, like
everyone on Game of Thrones … and there are thousands, we worked our asses off
to make the best show we could for the ending.”
The reason for that is that ‘Friends’ will be on HBO Max – WarnerMedia’s streaming service starting in 2020.

The show “The Office” will be also taken down in January 2021 according to Netflix statement – “We’re sad that NBC has decided to take ‘The Office’ back for its own streaming platform – but members can binge watch the show to their hearts’ content ad-free on Netflix until January 2021.”
