And What It Says On The Future of New Orleans?

It finally happened! After the mid season talks about sending Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers caused series chemistry problems in both organizations, it finally happened –

New Orleans sends Anthony Davis (top 10 player in the NBA) for Lonzo Ball (former no. 2 pick in the NBA draft), Brandon Ingram (former no. 2 pick in the NBA draft), Josh Hart (solid role player), The 4th pick in the 2019 draft (which New Orleans turned into multiple picks by trading a few spots back), and 3 more first round picks.

The Lakers basically gave their young core and become a championship contender -the Lakers has 1 more spot to land a superstar to play alongside Davis and Lebron James.

Davis averaged – 25.9 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.6 steals and 2.4 blocks per game.

Lebron averaged – 27.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, 7.2 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.6 blocks per game.

And New Orleans has a very bright future now.
The also drafted Zion Williamson – the best prospect of the draft and probably the best prospect since Kevin Durant.

Lonzo and Ingram showed flashes of greatness and now has a new home to develop their craft outside the spot lights of L.A.

New Orleans also drafted 2 interesting prospects in the 8th and 17th picks (they turned the no.4 pick into those picks) – Jaxson Hayes and Nickeil Alexander-Walker.

In my opinion, both teams got what they were looking for and time will tell who got the best bargains in this trade.
