Aquaman 2 Is Happening – Screenwriter is Confirmed

Just a few months after the earth-shattering success of its prequel at the Box Office, Aquaman 2 is already on the cards of its makers.

According to reports coming from various media outlets, David Leslie Johnson – who wrote the first Aquaman movie – has been tapped to write “Aquaman 2” by the movie’s makers.

One thing which still remains unclear is whether James Wan, who served as director on the first Aquaman movie and is currently in talks with Warner Bros for a new deal, will come back for the follow-up.

2018’s Aquaman fared brilliantly at the Box Office, as it raked in more than $1.1 billion worldwide to become one of the most commercially successful films of the year.

However, it isn’t the success of Aquaman – which is DC’s biggest hit since the release of “The Dark Knight Rises” in 2012 – which has made Warner Bros’ mind to get for its sequel.

Instead, as fans of “Aquaman” might remember, talks of its sequel were in the air even before the film hit theatres last year.

Consequently, it should be of no surprise to anyone that a sequel is already in the works, even when “Aquaman” continues to be screened at theatres worldwide.

Success of Aquaman

Ever since the release of “Transformers: Age of Extinction”, no other release from a studio other than Universal or Disney was able to rake in more than $1 billion on release.

Apart from bucking this trend – as “Aquaman has already grossed $1.12 billion worldwide” – the movie is the first billion-dollar hit of Warner Bros in the last 6 years.

Much of the credit of the Box-Office success of Aquaman goes to its opening weekend in China, where it earned a studio-record $94 million on the first weekend.

As a result, when compared with other super-hit movies released last year, Aquaman ($1.1 billion) comes 4th behind the likes of Incredibles 2 ($1.243b), Jurassic World 2 ($1.309b), Black Panther ($1.347b) and Avengers: Infinity War ($2.048b)

Michelle Obama – We Went For Marriage Counselling to “Fix” Obama

In her recently published memoir “Becoming”, the former First Lady claims that her marriage with the 44th President of the United States wasn’t always smooth sailing.

Scroll through layers of the photos of the couple which are available on the Internet, and you couldn’t help but think that the Obamas always had a brilliant relationship.

They enjoy each other’s company, challenge each other to become better and create space for family time; all the ingredients for a happy marriage life.

However, in her recently released memoir, Michelle Obama tells everyone that her relationship with Barrack wasn’t always smooth sailing.

The problems started when the couple had young kids.

While Barrack was a busy politician constantly travelling between Washington and Springfield, Michelle was a burgeoning lawyer who was feeling way too weighed down by her daily responsibilities.

Michelle learned in that period that what attracts you to your partner at the start often becomes the thing, especially in the long run, that drives you bananas.

While she was the box-checker type who thought everything should be in neat and tidy order, Barrack was her polar opposite – always swerving from one task to the other.

Understandably, then, both of them realized that to make their marriage long-lasting, they need to get marriage counselling to let Barrack see what he was doing wrong.

Surprisingly for Michelle, she discovered that it wasn’t what Barrack was doing which was driving him nuts. Instead, to make herself happy, she needed to make herself happy. That means that nobody but herself was responsible for her happiness, or the other way around.

In a sense, that realization which Michelle got that day – that only we are responsible for our happiness – is what is missing in modern day couples.

We tend to go into a marriage thinking the other person will complete us. That there is something missing in us. That we will share everything to have a happy-go-lucky life.

However, when reality sets in, we know that living with another person isn’t as easy – or as fun – as you might think.

That is where therapy helps us. Apart from identifying what we need, therapy tells us what the needs of our partner are, and how could both of us communicate better with each other. You get to know whether you can offer what the other person is asking, and whether they can offer what you want.

Only when this realization sets in – says Michelle Obama – that marriage becomes truly successful and long-lasting.

Man Wants to Sue His Parents for Giving Him Birth Without Consent

Ever wondered in your childhood why you came to this earth? Provided you did that, you could follow the example of this man suing his parents for birthing him.

Raphael Samuel, a 27-year-old man from Mumbai, is hatching plans to sue his parents for the reason that they gave birth to him without his consent.

In an interview with an Indian website, Sam reveals that he enjoys a good relationship with his parents, though he thinks he doesn’t owe them anything.

“I want to tell all Indian kids that they don’t owe their parents anything,” he told ThePrint. “I love my parents, and we have a great relationship, but they had me for their joy and their pleasure.”

Strange as it may sound, Sam isn’t alone in propagating the above-mentioned beliefs, as his ‘child-free’ movement has supporters all around India, with a goal of spreading awareness about their movement in the country of 1.4 billion people.

What’s more, these people haven’t adopted their concept out of thin air. Instead, they follow a world famous belief system known as Antinatalism.

Proponents of Antinatalism believe that it is just morally wrong for people to procreate, citing the resulting human misery which can be avoided if people stopped procreating.

Consequently, they argue, if a child hasn’t given permission to his parents to give him birth (though they don’t say *how* that permission could be granted), their mother has no reason to give birth.

His Mother Responds

As if his claim wasn’t outrageous enough, Sam has also posted online the response of his mother, who claims that ‘she would accept her fault’ if Sam could prove how could they have sought his consent.

“I must admire my son’s temerity to want to take his parents to court knowing both of us are lawyers. . If Raphael could come up with a rational explanation as to how we could have sought his consent to be born, I will accept my fault”

Furthermore, as is the wont with mothers, she sided with her son by blaming media by focusing too narrowly on Sam’s claims and not giving enough attention to what his beliefs could portend for the rest of the world.

Arrested – Indian Woman Who Recreated Gandhi Assassination

The woman, who is the leader of a right-wing Hindu group, had earlier shot the effigy of Gandhi on his death anniversary.

A leader of the far-right Hindu group Mahasabha in India has been arrested after a video of her shooting the effigy of Mahatma Gandhi went viral on social media.

Mrs. Panday is the national secretary of same Mahasabha group as Nathuram Godse, the man who killed Gandhi inside his home on 30 January 1948.

In an event which was organized by the fringe group to “celebrate” the 71st anniversary of India’s great leader, Pooja Panday was seen garlanding the photo of the man who had shot Gandhi, before using the air pistol herself to shoot the effigy.

The incident was held in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh and was followed up by the members of the group garlanding a portrait of Godse to “commemorate” his “achievement”.

After her video went viral on social media, a large number of Indians called for the woman to be arrested, with some questioning as to why the woman wasn’t being charged with sedition by the Government.

Although Gandhi is celebrated worldwide for his tolerant views and his doctrine of non-violence, he isn’t in the good books of some right-wing Hindu groups who blame him for India’s partition in 1947.

Not the first time

As shocking at it may sound, this isn’t the first time when the fringe group has tried to celebrate Godse for assassinating Gandhi.

In 2015, the group unveiled its plan to install statues of Godse in six districts across the South-Indian state of Karnataka. That plan was later shelved after protests across India forced the organizers not to go ahead with their motives.

Similarly, on 26 January this year, the Mahasabha refused to celebrate India’s Republic Day, instead choosing to call it a ‘Black Day’ unless India changes from a secular to a Hindu state.

Rush Hour 4 is Coming, Confirms Chris Tucker

Bringing to the screens the iconic duo of Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker, Rush Hour 4 is said to be released next year at the earliest.

Speaking on the Winging it podcast, Chris Tucker has confirmed that the long-held fourth installment of the Rush Hour series is in the works.

“We’re working on a few things on the script right now, so we’re trying to get into production. But we’re working on it and trying to get it going.”

Asked whether it was the demand of the studio or the eagerness of the actors that have led to Rush Hour 4, here’s what Tucker had to say.

“Jackie Chan wants to do it, I want to do it, [the] studio wants to do it, so we’re trying to get it together.”

Revolving around two mismatched partners – Chief Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) and Agent Carter (Chris Tucker) – Rush Hour series involves the iconic duo going on a series of misadventures while trying to fight criminals in Hong Kong and Los Angeles.

Starting from the first Rush Hour movie in 1998, the comic movie introduced Jackie Chan to American audiences who had seen him perform action roles in the past but weren’t aware of his comic skills.

The first installment was a smash hit on the Box Office, considering the fact that it was able to gross $33 million despite being modestly budgeted.

As a result, both Chan and Tucker joined their forces once again for Rush Hour 2, which proved to be an even bigger hit than its predecessor – grossing $90 billion on worldwide Box Office.

Last time Tucker and Chan reunited was in 2007 for Rush Hour 3, and the movie was able to hit the $140 million mark while also performing brilliantly on Blu-ray and DVD sales.

Pictures – Kim Jong Un and Rodrigo Duterte’s Impersonators Cause a Stir

Onlookers thought for a moment that they had North Korean leader Kim Jong Un out and about with them on the streets of Hong Kong.

Visit the streets of Hong Kong – and if you’re lucky – you might come across North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte walking been out and about with you, sharing laughs, posing for pictures and enjoying fried chicken dinners.

Look closely, however, and you might notice that the pair hasn’t actually come out of their respective countries to win over foreign hearts. Instead, the two persons you’d see on the streets of Hong Kong are, in fact, a couple of impersonators.

While the man who impersonates Mr. Duterte is recognized has the rather weird real name of Crescencio Extreme, the more popular of the duo is Howard X – the lookalike of Mr. Kim.

Kim Jong Un Impersonator Earns £10,000 a day

When Kim Jong Un replaced his father Kim Jong Il in 2011, Howard X was just another ordinary guy in Hong Kong. He had grown up in Australia and had traveled to Hong Kong in search of a job.

His moment of fame came on 2012’s April Fool’s Day when Howard posted pictures of himself as Kim Jong Un on social media. Six years on, and he is still reaping the benefits that come with stardom.

So popular has he become that Howard X says that he earns up to £10,000 a day for jobs ranging from opening shopping malls, starring in video games and entertaining guests at the birthday parties of billionaires.

He is fearless, too, as Howard infuriated the real Kim Jong Un by appearing on at least three different occasions of 2018 Winter Olympics where the North Korean delegation was also in attendance.

As can be expected, he was thrown out of the Hockey Stadium for being a nuisance to the guests.

However, with the real Kim Jong Un showing no signs of leaving his throne any soon, Howard X is confident that he’d continue to get high paying jobs in the foreseeable future.
